When grace hurts.

His humanity asked if there was another way–if this cup could pass from Him–but His holiness knew this was the only way.

When I woke up this morning, the sun was shining brightly through the blinds of my bedroom window.  Birds were singing from the trees behind my house.  A neighbor was mowing her backyard for the first time this season.  The world was warm, beautiful, and full of energy for the day ahead. The Little Brother

When Jesus first came to John, he was the little brother helping his older brother and his father to mend their nets on their boat. Just a fisherman helping with the family business. Jesus called to him and he left everything behind. Everything. Big brother James by his side, he left and followed this man who must have seemed strange. They may have heard of his coming from friends, or they may have even heard him speak. But how did they know his message was truth? Where did this blind faith come from? Was it even really blind?
